Rev. Willard Lee Patton - Founding Pastor of Faith Bible Church
August 13, 1946 - September 6, 2020

Pastor Lee Patton went home to Glory on his favorite day of the week, Sunday, September 6, 2020, at the age of 74.  Pastor Lee accepted Christ as his Savior on October 10, 1965. His love for the Lord motivated him to attend Florida Bible College.  After his graduation in 1968 he went to Oklahoma to minister to the Native American community.  Bro. Lee moved to San Antonio,  Texas, in July 1968 and began an outreach called "The Hub" to reach the youth of San Antonio.   The Hub reached over 1000 San Antonio youth and many came to know Jesus as their Savior because of his faithfulness and drive to reach the lost.  In 1974, he was led by the Lord to begin Faith Bible Church where he pastored for 46 years.  Pastor Lee was well known in San Antonio, and many came to know Jesus because of his passion for sharing the Gospel to anyone he encountered.  Pastor Lee loved his Lord, his family, and his church.  He will be truly missed by all that had the privilege to know him and call him Pastor and friend.  

Pastor Lee's rule of life was JOY - Jesus, Others, Yourself; Jesus first, then others, himself last.  Pastor Lee was a great example to many and lived a life that honored the Lord.

Philippians 3:10 - That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
